Appreciative Inquiry Workshop for SC SHRM

Kathy Kegley and Gail DePriest offered a full day workshop at the South Carolina Society for Human Resource Management in Myrtle Beach. The workshop was approved for 7.5 strategic credits. Over 70 participants attended the workshop.

Sloan Conference on Asynchronous Learning

A workshop on creativity was offered for participants at the Sloan conference held in Orlando, FL. The interactive workshop covered the basic process of idea generation and explored ways of encouraging others to develop and apply creativity in activities including problem solving. learning and communication.
Coaching Leaders

In an event sponsored by Clemson University at their downtown Greenville location, "Clemson at the Falls", Kathy co-facilitated a 2-part workshop designed to help leaders develop coaching skills. Participants completed the HBDI assessment prior to the first meeting, where the results were explained within the context of successful coaching.
Georgia Tech Workshop on Creativity

In this highly interactive workshop, participants engaged in the process of idea generation and reflection to boost creativity. Participants also gained insights about how they could encourage creativity in others and establish a climate to support creativity. Common barriers to creativity were discussed along with effective ways to minimize or remove them.
Furman University Sustainability Certificate Program
Fall 2010
In one afternoon of this award-winning program, Kathy led participants through HBDI debriefing activities to explore how an understanding of thinking preferences could be used to support sustainability initiatives. Topics such as employee engagement and effective communication at all levels were highlighted as essential components of a successful sustainability initiative.
TEDxGreenville Salon

Kathy was an invited panelist in the Greenville TEDx Salon on Creativity held at The Warehouse Theater. There were 70 people in attendance, with many contributing to a conversation that was lively and stimulating. Thanks to Marc Bolic and Aaron von Frank for their efforts in hosting this event!
MBA Class: Creativity in Business
Fall 2010.
This online class was designed and delivered through the Clemson University MBA program. Students were encouraged to apply creativity techniques to authentic business challenges and exchange success stories with each other through an online discussion board.
Clemson University Leadership Summit
August 2010
In this week long event, participants were guided through activities designed to illustrate the leadership benefits of their HBDI results. Participants also learned how an understanding of the four quadrants could be used in the innovation process and in evaluating situations through a "whole brain" walkaround.
